Post Graduation & Now

"I went to the University of Virginia and graduated in 2015 with a double major in foreign policy and media studies. After a brief stint at a defense contractor I moved to South Florida to work at a boutique PR and marketing agency. I specialized in equestrian media and traveled the world as a publicist and sports journalist. I stayed at the agency until accomplishing my goal of covering the Olympic Games in Tokyo as a photographer before deciding to transition to a different industry."

"I now work for NextEra Energy - it’s a Fortune 500 company that is the country’s largest renewable energy generator. I support the executives for the power generation division for marketing initiatives. Our main source of power generation is solar, wind, nuclear and natural gas and we are growing in energy storage technologies.
