Brianna graduated from Massanutten Regional Governor's School and Broadway High School in 2015.

What she has been up to after Gov School:
"I graduated from Broadway High School and MRGS in 2015 before attending the University of Virginia, graduating in 2019 with a double major in Biology and Spanish. I earned my Master’s degree in Biomedicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2021 and returned this year as a first-year medical student, EVMS MD class of 2026."
How Gov School played a role in where she is now:
"There are several skills that I practiced at MRGS which I found invaluable going forward in my education and that I feel I would have been lacking had I not attended MRGS. The most obvious skill was research. The expectation that we dedicate an academic year to a research project or question taught me discipline, time-management, and fundamental research skills that I still use today. Perhaps most importantly, my senior year research project working in a lab at James Madison University helped me realize that benchwork lab science was not for me and helped me eventually hone in on my true passions - clinical sciences and medicine."
MRGS provides students with learning materials and experiences to set them up for long term success. Brianna Armentrout states:
"MRGS also provided for me a community of peers who helped challenge my assumptions, push me academically, and identify what it was I wanted out of this life post-graduation. At MRGS, I knew I was unequivocally accepted and respected and my thoughts and input were valued by my peers."
